Welcome to MERHO Federal Credit Union

Unlike other financial institutions, your credit union is a not-for-profit organization owned by, and serving only its members. We provide a convenient method to promote savings and an economical way of borrowing for worthwhile purposes.

As an owner, you have the right to vote for your directors at the annual meeting. All Board and Committee members are volunteers who establish policies and carry out the operations of the credit union according to the Federal Credit Union Act. All members are eligible, and are encouraged, to serve as a volunteer.

Often the credit unions services are far better values than those offered by other financial institutions. Since we have no stockholders to reward, all efforts are made to provide better service to the members.

The philosophy of MERHO Federal Credit Union is "People Helping People." This financial cooperative exists to provide loan, deposit and member-oriented services to its' defined membership with a high level of quality and efficiency.

OUR OBJECTIVES ARE TO:

Promote thrift among its’ members by offering to them a means of making safe and regular investments
To enable members to obtain loans at a reasonable rate of interest for worthwhile purposes

MERHO Federal Credit Union was chartered on March 2, 1972. The credit union is a corporation supervised by the National Credit Union Administration.

ATTENTION DEBIT CARD USERS

MERHO FCU has added a new network to our Debit Cards. The new network is ALLPOINT, the world's largest Surcharge-Free ATM network. This will be a great asset to college students going away for school, vacationers, and for our members who live out of town. You can locate the ATM's on-line at www.allpointnetwork.com or download apps to your iPhone, Android, or Blackberry. If you would like more information, or have any question, please contact the Credit Union.

MERHO FCU offers VISA gift cards in any denomination! The perfect summer vacation gift is at your local credit union.

NOW OFFERED AT MERHO!

MERHO FCU will now be offering VISA Prepaid Travel Debit Cards. VISA prepaid travel cards make it easy to use your credit card outside of the state or even the country. These prepaid VISAs can be reloaded with money at any time via the Internet at www.cumoney.com or at the credit union. Perfect for vacations, college students, and to give as gifts! The best part about the VISA prepaid travel card is it's FREE!

ATTENTION MEMBERS WHO USE HOME BANKING

We are encouraging you to switch to e-statements to save money! If you do not want to sign up for e-statements, and want to continue to receive a paper statement, the credit union will deduct a postage fee from your account if the statement is over 5 pages. If you prefer to pick it up at the office, please notify us beforehand. However, we will only hold them for a few weeks and then shred them. The fee is $2.00.

FUNDS AVAILABILITY POLICY
Our general policy is to allow you to withdraw funds deposited in your "transaction account" (checking/share draft account) on the first business day after the day we receive your deposit. The first $200.00 of your deposit will be immediately available.

Depending on the type of check that you deposit, funds may not be available until the 2nd business day after the day of your deposit. In addition, funds you deposit by check may be delayed for a longer period under the following circumstances:

· We believe the check you deposit will not be paid.
· You deposit checks totaling more than $5,000 on any one day.
· You redeposit a check that has been returned unpaid.
· You have overdrawn your account repeatedly in the last 6 months.
· There is an emergency, such as failure of computer or communications equipment.
· The account is opened on the same day as the deposit is received.

We will notify you if we delay your ability to withdraw funds for any of the above reasons. They will generally be available no later than the 5th business day after the day of your deposit. Funds from electronic direct deposits will be available on the day we receive the deposit.
