This contest for 7th thru 12th graders was inaugurated in 2006. Our goal is to encourage students to develop research and writing skills and learn more about women's contributions to the development of our society. The topic is "Women who Made a Difference in the 20th Century". Essays are judged in two divisions, Grades 7-9 and 10-12. Chair: Kay Kusibab

Write, Read, Write

Students in a chosen fourth grade class each write a letter to one of our members. The members purchase a book that seems suitable for their 'pen pal', and send the gift along with a letter back to their student.
